5 Lessons I've Learnt From Julia Roberts

For some reason I’ve been having a Julia Roberts movie marathon over the past few weeks. (Thank you, DSTV & le boyfriend for not switching channels). And of course, I’ve been loving it! I’ve also picked up some awesome life lessons:

1)      From Pretty Woman…

Treat everyone you meet as your equal, you never know how rich they are.

(Or: It pays to be a prostitute with a handsome benefactor)

2)      From My Best Friend’s Wedding

He’s probably not that into you if he’s marrying someone else.

(Or: Never try to leave the Friendzone with 90’s hair)

3)      From Notting Hill

Never answer the door in your underwear.

(Or: Wear photograph-able underwear or as gran would say “just-in-case-you-are-in-an-accident underwear)

4)      From Runaway Bride

Don’t change for anybody!

(Also, cholesterol is real… There are many ways to eat an egg)

5)      From Erin Brockovich

Take a stand for a worthy cause.

(Or don’t drink water… Alcohol kills germs, drink that rather)
